Joel Baker graduated from the University of Washington School of Music, where he studied piano with Robin McCabe.  Currently located in Palm Springs, CA, Joel is a frequent collaborative pianist in various genres.  He is the accompanist for the Palm Springs Gay Men’s Chorus and has received several awards for his work in the desert’s cabaret scene, and runs an open mic for singers.  Joel joined the MMR staff in 2008.
